GT vs KKR, IPL 2026: Australia and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder Cameron Green has shown signs of getting back to his best in the IPL 2026 match against Gujarat Titans on Friday, April 17, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. One of the sixes that started during the night left a dent on the TATA Sierra car that remained outside the boundary line. A corresponding video has been spread on social media.
GT vs KKR, IPL 2026: How did Cameron Green perform before the game against Gujarat Titans?
Green had become the most expensive foreign signing in the history of the IPL auction as the Knight Riders shelled out ₹25.20. However, he only managed 56 runs in five games in what has been a disastrous season for the three-time champions as they are yet to win a game. The outstanding all-rounder had run into the crease in the second over of the innings when Kagiso Rabada nodded Angkrish Raghuvanshi to the keeper. Green was at one point 8 off 14 deliveries, sharing a valuable gap of 55 runs with Rovman Powell off just 43 deliveries.
Meanwhile, the six that put the dent on the car came in the 13th over of the innings, which sent Ashok Sharma to the ground when Green swung over the deep square-leg boundary.

Cameron Green scores his first fifty of the tournament
The 26-year-old finally scored his first half-century of the tournament, achieving that goal in just 34 goals. However, the Australian all-rounder also had a few narrow chances as Jos Buttler missed a shot followed by Washington Sundar who missed a catch.
The Knight Riders desperately need a win against the Titans to stay in the playoffs. As for the Titans, they started their campaign with a few losses but picked up just as many wins to get back on their feet.
