The post included a digital poster that claimed the US president was “the peace president.”

Earlier, US President Donald Trump claimed on Friday (local time) that he played a key role in resolving several global conflicts, including the situation between India and Pakistan, and claimed that his interventions helped prevent major loss of life.

While speaking about international conflicts at the Turning Point USA event in Phoenix, Arizona, Trump said: “I am the peacemaker. I am the one who settled eight wars. I settled a war that would have killed 30 to 50 million people between India and Pakistan.”

He further expanded on his claim, saying: “I have ended eight wars, but if we count Iran and Lebanon, that is ten wars that have been ended and many, many millions of lives saved. Just think of how many lives we have saved.”

On the Lebanon ceasefire, Trump said the US had contributed to a major breakthrough, claiming: “Yesterday we achieved what everyone thought was impossible, an unprecedented ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon. This hasn’t happened in 78 years… we will make Lebanon great again…”

At the talks with Iran, Trump said negotiations would continue and expressed optimism. He added: “Talks are ongoing and we will continue them at the weekend,” and said the U.S. blockade would end once an “agreement is signed.”

Meanwhile, a new round of talks between the US and Iran is expected to take place in Islamabad on Monday, with delegations expected to arrive in Pakistan on Sunday, Iranian officials said, according to CNN.

President Trump also said a deal with Iran would not go into effect until it was fully finalized, citing key developments in West Asia, including in Lebanon and the Strait of Hormuz.

At a Turning Point USA event in Phoenix, Arizona, Trump said: “This will be a great and brilliant day for the world because Iran has just announced that the Strait of Hormuz is completely open and ready for traffic and full passage. But the naval blockade with the largest navy in the world, with the largest military the world has ever seen, we built it. During my first term in office, we built it… We remain in full force and effect as it affects Iran until the.” “When our transaction with Iran is complete.” 100% complete and fully signed.” Meanwhile, Iran has said maritime movement through the Strait of Hormuz will be strictly controlled by Tehran, saying passage will only be allowed via designated routes and with Iranian approval, as tensions with the United States escalate over regional security and negotiations. Speaker of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said: “4- Passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be carried out on the ‘determined route’ and with ‘Iranian authorization’.” 5- Whether the strait is open or closed and what rules govern it will be determined by practice, not social media.”
